Job Description: Yogurt Shop Team Member
Specifically Looking for Availability Wednesday-Sunday 4pm-10:45pm
Overview:
As a Yogurtini Team Member, you will play a vital role in creating a positive and enjoyable experience for our customers. You will work as part of a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment, serving delicious frozen yogurt and assisting customers with their selections. The ideal candidate will be friendly, energetic, and committed to delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
• Customer Service: Provide friendly and attentive service to all customers, greeting them as they enter the shop, assisting with flavor and topping choices, and answering any questions they may have about our products. Strive to create a welcoming atmosphere that keeps customers coming back.
• Food Preparation: Ensure that all yogurt flavors and toppings are well stocked, fresh, and presented attractively to customers. Follow proper food safety and sanitation procedures at all times.
• Cash Handling: Accurately handle cash transactions, process payments using the point-of-sale system, and issue receipts to customers. Maintain a tidy and organized cash register area, balancing cash drawers at the beginning and end of each shift.
• Cleaning and Maintenance: Take pride in maintaining a clean and orderly store environment, including wiping down counters, tables, and equipment, sweeping and mopping floors, and emptying trash bins as needed. Perform routine cleaning tasks throughout the day to ensure a sanitary and inviting space for customers.
• Upselling and Promotion: Actively promote new flavors, toppings, and special offers to customers to increase sales and drive business growth. Encourage customers to try new combinations and upsell additional items to enhance their yogurt experience.
• Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with fellow team members to ensure smooth operation of the yogurt shop. Communicate effectively with team members and management, assisting with tasks as needed and supporting a positive team dynamic.
• Product Knowledge: Stay informed about current yogurt flavors, toppings, and promotions to provide accurate information to customers. Continuously seek opportunities to expand your product knowledge and improve your ability to assist customers with their selections.
Qualifications:
• Previous experience in a customer service or food service role required.
• Friendly and outgoing personality with excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Basic math skills and ability to handle cash transactions accurately.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and food safety standards.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
