Job Description:
Onsite 5x a week.Top 3 Skills:RedHat LinuxWindows Support/Patching of various applicationsDescription:Provides hardware/software support of computing systems in the following areas: application development/maintenance operating systems computer operations telecommunications field engineering or systems control. Install troubleshoot analyze and maintain basic routine utility system programs.Performs duties of considerable complexity in supportof computing systemsDemonstrates overall responsibility for hardware/software installation and maintenance system performance and problem resolutionAnalyzes future needs and makes recommendationsProvides high level expertise and technical direction for systems hardware/software support servicesSupports both internal and external customers.In addition to the above job responsibilities, other duties may be assigned.Preferred Skills:1. Experience installing/upgrading RedHat and AIX operating systems2. Experience with the disk/LVM creation and modification3. Experience with configuration and modification of TCP and firewalld/iptables4. Experience with monthly security patching and remediation5. Experience with Apache/Tomcat/MYSQL/Mariadb install and configuration6.
