In order to continually promote and create innovative products that support our vision we are currently seeking an Electrical Planner & Relief Supervisor for the Owensboro, KY manufacturing facility.
• Provide coverage as shift Supervisor on Maintenance Crew as needed when a vacancy exists.
• Assist Supervisors as needed in leading general maintenance equipment electricians, mechanics, systems mechanics, machinist, general helpers, painters and oilers assigned to the shift, monitoring job performance and maintain necessary time keeping / attendance records.
• Plan electrical tasks and ensure proper utilization of electrical crafts and equipment availability.
• Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to develop, issue, schedule, review, and complete work orders.
• Ensure timely completion of work orders and preventative/predictive maintenance programs through the CMMS.
• Plan yearly contracted service agreements.
• Assist Electrical Supervisor with preparation of yearly departmental budgets.
• Assist Supervisors in developing and maintaining training requirements and schedules.
• Communicate and work collaboratively with all employees.
• Assist production and maintenance teams in troubleshooting and improving low performing equipment, to achieve the best possible efficiencies, quality and performance.
• Assist engineering and maintenance teams, for outages/projects/expansions, in managing and planning of those outages/projects/expansions to ensure success.
• Generate innovative solutions/contingencies to ensure optimum equipment availability.
• Become proficient with the Union Labor Agreement.
• Establish, promote, and maintain a safe work environment for all employees.
Requirements
EDUCATION : Minimum high school diploma or equivalent. Postsecondary education in electrical, supervision, or planning is preferred.
EXPERIENCE : Minimum 2 years’ experience in maintenance planning/supervising with a strong understanding of electrical, PLCs, and drives. Must have experience utilizing a CMMS. Working knowledge of process and packaging equipment. AB component/systems knowledge including PLCs, drives and sensors.
SKILL : Electrical, PLCs, Drives, Safety Systems required.
OTHER: Interpersonal skills in motivation of peers and craft personnel. Drive and initiative for continuous improvement. Growth oriented with promotion potential. Alternate shift work will be required occasionally. Must be able to see color to discern color-coded wiring. Prolonged periods standing, kneeling, bending, and walking. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
