Job Title: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - Maternity Leave Coverage
Location: Two Elementary Schools in Virginia (State: VA)
Duration: January and February (with the possibility of extending)
Days per Week: 4 days
Caseload: Pre K-5th Grade, 40-45 students
Contract Type: Temporary Maternity Leave Coverage
Position Overview: We are seeking a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide maternity leave coverage for a 4-day per week position in two elementary schools in Virginia. The position is expected to start in January and extend through February, with the possibility of an extension. The SLP will work with students ranging from Pre K to 5th grade, managing a caseload of 40-45 students.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct assessments to identify speech and language disorders.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Provide direct therapy services to students.
• Collaborate with teachers and other school staff to support students' communication needs.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services provided.
Qualifications:
• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Valid Virginia state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology.
• ASHA Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Previous experience working with a pediatric population is preferred.
