Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position. Typical days and hours of work are Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Some flexibility in hours is allowed. This position may require some travel.
Work Environment:
This job operates in a professional office and shop environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment.
Job Purpose:
This position will primarily be working in Teamcenter (PLM) and SAP supporting engineering, reviewing prints, setting up parts, working with BOM’s. Will also be responsible for making changes in SAP per the CMR (Change Master Records, ECO) process along with other assigned duties.
Job Responsibilities and Functions:
• Uses expert-level SAP skills to extract and work with data from multiple tables
• Proven understanding of the PLM architecture (e.g., workflows, APIs, runtime characteristics, design limitations, and maintenance requirements)
• Able to drive the development of Standard Operating Procedures that guide master data set up processes and rules
• Able to partner with stakeholders within the business to support their master data requests and resolve the most complex issues
• Ability to learn new applications and tools that are commonly used in a professional setting
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast paced environment, meeting deadlines and working with autonomy
• Can present new master data concepts and help leadership achieve it’s strategic direction
• Collaborate with Business users to transform the business requirements into system-based solutions focused on PLM and Enterprise Engineering/Manufacturing platforms.
• Drive end user adoption by supporting the use cases, working with product vendors and consulting partners to drive capability enhancements to the business process and product features.
• Find opportunities, challenges, and gaps in the business processes and help architect technology strategy and roadmap to address them.
• Analyze, improve, and maintain Teamcenter based PLM business processes and solutions.

Competencies:
SAP & High-Level ERP System Knowledge:
• The applicant should possess working knowledge on SAP.
Understands transactions, the UI, etc..
General PDM System Knowledge:
• Understand the purpose of a PDM system and how it communicated with ERP.
• Understand that PDM is linked with Engineering activities.
Technical Literacy:
• Understanding of basic Engineering part setups. I.E., understand that a weldment is different from an assembly.
• Understanding of how a machine might be structured, with sub-assemblies comprising an overall bill of materials, with multiple levels.
Computer / Technology Literacy:
• Possess the ability to be quick with computers.
• Applicant should be very comfortable using the computer, managing windows and tasks between interfaces.
Communication Skills:
• The applicant should possess the ability to communicate well, and cross-functionally.
• Knowledge of composing concise, clear / effective emails
Preferred Education and Experience:
• Associate’s Technical or Engineering Degree preferred
• 4+ years’ experience in PLM and MRP systems, preferably in Teamcenter
• 4+ years’ experience in MRP systems, preferably in SAP.
