Job Objective(s): To assure resident satisfaction and safety through upkeep of the property & grounds, including preventive maintenance, repair, replacement, inspection. Job Responsibilities and Duties: Perform preventative maintenance or repairs as needed or requested by residents and/or manager. Property maintenance or repair duties may include painting, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, keys and locks, appliances, lighting systems, carpentry, etc. Prepare homes for new residents. Perform preventive maintenance according to established guidelines and schedules. Perform grounds care including light snow removal, trash pick-up, etc. Maintain adequate maintenance supply inventory. Responsible for selecting and ordering supplies, and monitoring maintenance supply budget. Schedule, coordinate and supervise work of outside vendors. Job Qualification Standards: High school diploma or equivalent required. 2+ years maintenance experience preferred. Previous experience working with seniors is beneficial.
