Therapy Cincinnati is seeking a part-time Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our growing team! The candidate would join our practice and provide medication management for adults and children. We are a small group private practice located in Montgomery, Ohio, and we are looking to add a prescriber to our team of therapists. We offer a small knit, supportive and collaborative environment, along with lots of scheduling flexibility and excellent pay. We allow our providers to choose what days and hours they want to work (subject to office space availability), and we don't require that you work a set amount of hours per week. December 2022 and May 2023 graduates are encouraged to apply. What we'll need from you: Master's degree or above in a nursing field of study from an accredited school. Hold a degree either as a PMHNP - Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, or as a psychiatric clinical nurse specialist at the level needed to assess and prescribe medication collaboratively as determined by the Ohio State Board of Nursing. APRN applicants must have certification with either ANCC or AANP. Professional Liability Insurance (all of our providers carry their own policies) At least 10 clinical hours per week committed to our patients. Have an arrangement with a collaborating physician. (Remuneration is negotiable but we don't have a physician at this time. We will assist you in obtaining a collaborating physician) This position requires that some patients be seen in office at our Montgomery location. Preferred Experience: At least 2-3 years providing direct client care to persons receiving treatment for psychiatric disorders Have a valid DEA number and unrestricted DEA license in Ohio Ability to work with both adult and youth/child populations Prior private practice clinical work experience preferred What we offer: Flexible work schedules – you make your own schedule and hours.
