Job Description
Berglund Ford, part of Berglund Automotive, a well-established and reputable automotive group with 10 locations, representing 20 different automotive brands throughout Southwest and Central Virginia, is looking for a Parts Counter Specialist.
Job Summary:
The parts counter specialist is responsible for helping customers, in person and by phone, with parts questions and orders. Offering accurate price quotes and upholding a consistent standard of service is an integral part of this role.

Key Responsibilities
* Oversee the parts sales process from start to finish.
* Communicate with customer on parts status.
* Communicate with staff and customers in a friendly and professional manner.
* Be able to read and understand the parts catalog when looking up parts.
* Answers phone calls, providing price quotes and other information.
* Reviews body shop estimates to be sure the parts that are ordered are correct and all pricing is in line with the estimate.
* Pulls and fills orders from stock.
* Maintain a weekly bin checks to ensure accuracy of stock.
* Notifies parts manager of out-of-stock parts or shop materials that need immediate attention.
* Locates out-of-stock parts from outside source and submits an emergency order, if necessary.
* Receives payment from retail customers or obtains credit authorization.
* Set up orders for daily shipment, delivery, or pick-up.
Additional Information
Qualifications * The ideal Brand Ambassador candidate will have good communication skills, proven sales performance record (any industry), professional appearance, outgoing personality, and a willingness to continuously prospect in order to sell a maximum number of vehicles on an ongoing basis.
