Inside Rental and Sales Rep
The Rental Sales Representative schedules compact equipment rentals, coordinates equipment pick-ups and deliveries, and assists customers in providing rental solutions to their job site needs in Mankato.
essential functions:

• Rents compact equipment to the customer by describing available options, finding the best equipment for their projects, computing cost, and accepting payment
• Receives, examines, and tags equipment to be repaired, cleaned, and/or stored
• Prepares rental forms, obtains customer signature, and other information, such as required licenses
• Reserves items for requested time and keeps record of equipment that is rented
• Coordinates pick-up and delivery of equipment, when necessary
• Develops sales opportunities by researching and identifying potential accounts, soliciting new accounts, building rapport, providing technical information and explanations, and preparing quotations
• Develops accounts by checking customers’ buying history, suggesting related and new items, and explaining technical features
• Assesses competitors by analyzing and summarizing competitor information and trends to identify sales opportunities
• Visit customer sites to evaluate needs and to promote products, rentals, and services
company-wide expectations:
• Remain drug and alcohol free while on Company premises and within the scope of duty
• Understand and comply with all Sanco Enterprises policies and procedures
• Observe safety and security policies and procedures and use equipment and materials accordingly

knowledge, education and/or experience:
• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent
• In-depth understanding of Company services and its position in the compact/agricultural equipment industry
• Proven Inside Sales experience
• Knowledge of sales process from initiation to close

• This job operates in a parts store/repair/machinery shop environment
