ATX Learning is seeking a qualified Behavior Technician (BT) to join our team and contribute to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
Position: Behavior Technician (BT)
Location: Linton Hall, VA
Type: Full-time/Part-time
Responsibilities:
• Implement behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
• Provide one-on-one therapy sessions based on individualized treatment plans.
• Collect and record data on client behavior during sessions to monitor progress.
• Collaborate with the treatment team, including BCBA, parents, and other professionals.
• Participate in training and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus.
• Prior experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to follow behavior intervention plans and adapt strategies as needed.
• Willingness to engage in ongoing training and professional development.
