As a Speech Language Pathologist in a school district, you will work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other professionals to identify and address students' communication needs through individualized treatment plans.You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse group of students and make a positive impact on their communication skills.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess students' speech, language, and communication abilities.
• Develop personalized therapy plans tailored to each student's unique needs and goals.
• Provide individual and group therapy sessions using evidence-based techniques and creative resources.
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to ensure a collaborative and holistic approach to student success.
• Monitor progress, adjust therapy plans as needed, and maintain accurate records of student performance.
Qualifications:
• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Current license to practice as an SLP in the state of MI(or eligible for licensure).
• ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) preferred.
• Experience working with school-aged children is a plus, but new graduates are encouraged to apply.
