Agenacare Urgent Care
Agenacare Urgent Care provides the local, medically underserved community, with access to a quick and convenient care option for low to moderately acute injuries and illnesses. Centrally located and easily accessible in Franklin County, Agenacare Urgent Care will offer an alternative option for non-acute emergencies. As a for-profit Urgent Care facility, we accept most major insurance carriers along with Medicare and Medicaid. Our Urgent Care is staffed with Autonomous Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants with an overseeing Physician as our Medical Director. Agenacare Urgent Care provides the community with the highest level of care, minimal wait times and maximum efficiency by employing and utilizing the following health care providers to the highest level of their scope of practice: Paramedics, Registered Nurses, Medical Assistants, Radiology Technicians, Ultrasound Technician and Medical Scribes. We offer evaluation and treatment for low to moderately acute illnesses and injuries, COVID-19 diagnosis and treatment, fractures, suturing/wound care, Sports Physicals, DOT physicals, Occupational Medicine needs, Urine Drug Screens, IV hydration, Lab Draws, X-ray Imaging, Ultrasound Imaging and more. Agenacare Urgent Care is a CLIA waived facility with Rapid PCR capabilities, that also works with Quest Diagnostics for send out laboratory tests. Agenacare Urgent Care redefines the Urgent Care experience with a unique model that optimizes both the patient's and healthcare worker's time, level of care and satisfaction.

Radiology Technician (1 Full Time and 1 Part-Time/PRN Opening)
• Responsibilities:
• The Radiology Technologist (X-ray technologist, X-ray tech) is responsible for performing all radiology services and other basic nursing duties as assigned
• This role acts as an extension of the nursing staff and is responsible for performing all the duties of the nursing staff within reasonable scope of practice. Experience working in an outpatient clinic setting is highly preferred.
• In addition, they ensure the well-being of patients and provide a positive, supportive environment while working in conjunction with physicians, advanced practice clinicians, front office and clinical staff
• This role is center-based and requires working in a clinical setting. It requires the ability to stand and sit for hours at a time (with some bending and stooping), ability to use manual dexterity in relation to clinical requirements, and ability to lift 50 lbs
• Primary Responsibilities:
• Complete provider orders per state and provider regulations
• Perform accurate X-rays as ordered by the provider while practicing radiation safety precautions
• Prepare and transmit images to the radiologist for over-read, and report over-read results to providers
• Retrieve and archive radiography reports
• Triage patients and perform detailed and accurate data collection during clinical intake of patients to include taking and recording vital signs and patient history
• Collect specimens and perform rapid testing such as COVID, Flu, Strep, RSV, Mono, UPT, etc. As well as preparing and running EKG tests and administering nebulizer treatments.
• Assist patients as needed with walking, transfer, specimen collection, exam prep, etc.
• Assist the provider in procedures and examinations as needed.
• Complete occupational health testing including such services as urine drug screens, breath alcohol testing, and physicals.
• Complete lab result call backs daily.
• Proper, concise and complete EMR documentation and paper-based documentation for all assessments and procedures.
• Other basic nursing duties as assigned such as new models of care and new types of procedures, etc.

• Qualifications:
• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology
• Licensed and accredited by ARRT and State, if applicable and required by law
• Maintain CEU/CME’s as applicable for licensure
• Candidates must be able to perform all essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
• Experience performing all standard radiographic studies on pediatric and geriatric patients
• Experience with computed and digital radiography
• Experience with taking patient vitals
• Experience performing point of care testing (i.e. rapid strep, rapid flu, and urinalysis)
• Experience performing employer health services (i.e. urine drug screen, breath alcohol testing, DOT examinations)
• Experience documenting in electronic medical records and PACS
• Ability to perform venipuncture and lab specimen collections experience
• Comfortable working independently without the support of another radiologic technologist
• Candidates are required to pass a drug test and background check before beginning employment
