Receptionist Reimbursement Specialist Position # AD-82 (Franklin County, VA)
This position is responsible for financial reviews, financial appeals, and collecting financial data to determine billing and establish fee amounts according to PCS Collections and Reimbursement policies, scanning, fax and mail distributions. Will work closely with front desk by handling client flow, scheduled appointments, receive incoming phone calls, verifying insurance, and handling complaints in a professional calm manner. This position shares duties with the operator answering and routing calls appropriately. This position will be responsible for various Credible reports, and supply support staff shortages in other locations. High School diploma or Associates degree preferred with 1-3 years’ experience in medical office setting. Must have strong typing skills and knowledge of insurance billing practices. Salary is based on education and experience as it pertains to position.
