Citizens Bank Minnesota, New Ulm, is looking for a high performing, experienced, motivated and community focused Crop Insurance Manager who loves working with people and has great attention to detail. The selected candidate will be responsible for Delivering the Ultimate Experience by developing positive, meaningful relationships with new and existing clients while working with licensed agents on staff. New Ulm is our main branch, but this position could also be based out of La Salle, Lafayette, Watkins or Ormsby. We are also open to working with an existing agent to bring their book of business to our agency.
Crop Insurance Manager Job Responsibilities :
Promote crop insurance.
Provides necessary reports regarding sales and claims.
Educate on the coordination of current farm programs and crop insurance to assist both agents and clients.
Tracks the licensure status of all crop insurance agents to keep current.
Oversees the coordination of annual renewal period and day-to-day operations of the crop insurance duties.
Coordinate customer education updates on products and pertinent information.
Apply underwriting judgment in order to review, evaluate and price insurance policies along with adhering to company policy, state, and federal regulations.
Ensure complete and accurate policy processing activities.
Provide processing and support for claims and compliance departments and complete transactions within area of responsibility.
Correct errors and resolve issues with the FCIC Error Report.
Assist in handling special claims.
Print status reports and track policy cycle of completion, ensuring coverage continuation and avoiding late penalties.

High school diploma or equivalent.
Computer and mathematical skills.
Knowledge of crop insurance.
Current licensure, or the ability to obtain.
