Your job at Bricktop’s is to provide service that is:

Duties & Responsibilities: Arrive at or before the time you are scheduled. Arrive sharply dressed and well groomed each day. Warmly and graciously greet all guests upon arrival with a friendly smile and eye contact. When possible, open the front door for guests entering or leaving the restaurant. When immediate seating is limited, record guest names and number of people in party and issue pagers. Provide guests with estimated waiting time. Answer phones and communicate with the guests as you would in person. Have basic knowledge of the restaurant, relating to history, food and directions. Accommodate special seating requests for guests whenever possible. Influence the efficiency of the restaurant by anticipating cycles of volume throughout each shift. Create a culture of regular guests by learning and using guests’ names. Upon seating, offer guests a menu and inform them of their server’s name. Inspect table for proper presentation and completeness.
Relay messages to servers as needed. Thank guests as they leave and invite them to return. Display a can do attitude by assisting other teammates throughout the restaurant.
Qualifications: Be personable and friendly in a selfless manner. Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 8 hours). Be able to communicate clearly and effectively in the predominant language(s) of our guests. Possess a basic understanding of health standards as they apply to the service industry.
