Vice President of Plant Operations- Skilled Nursing
Touchstone Communities- San Antonio, TX (Corporate office) Sr Director of Environment of Care and Construction/Plant Operations- Skilled Nursing
• Supporting 27 communities across the state of Texas, including 4 Texas State Veterans
• Must be willing to relocate to Texas. Relocation assistance will be provided.
Qualifications:
• Must have a minimum of 5-7 years in multi-facility Long Term Care/Skilled Nursing management dealing with Construction, Life Safety Code, Environment of Care, and supporting/developing Maintenance Directors. - Must have Skilled Nursing Industry experience to be considered.
Position-Specific Job Duties:
• Appropriately assist in hiring and managing Community Maintenance Directors (DOM)
• Consistently ensure that the community maintains compliance to Life Safety requirements providing a safe environment for our residents, family members and team members.
• Establish a good relationship with the General Land Office Construction Services team.
• Responsible for the interior and exterior physical environment to meet the VLB and GLO expectations.
• Ensure Directors of Maintenance are trained and in compliance with standards.
• Ensure appropriate stewardship in achieving budgetary compliance for all relevant accounts.
• Ensure TELS compliance amongst communities.
• Establish systems for preventative programs including TELS.
• Oversee bond projects renovations and major repairs with VLB.
• Develop annual capital plan for each TSVH and ensure completion of all items.
• Oversee EOC contracts.
• Develop HUB vendors for TSVHs to utilize.
• Manage OAR and ORR process in conjunction with others.
• Follow up on VLB construction items to ensure completion to the satisfaction of Touchstone and the GLO
• Develop purchasing process to reduce cost.
• Participate in comprehensive reviews for communities as requested.
• Participate in TSVH GLO construction services visits and in development of corresponding POC-ensure no repeat findings.
• Participate in regional meetings are requested.
• Assist TSVH Communities in maintain compliance of VLB contract monitoring list
• Develop connection and camaraderie amongst community directors of maintenance to promote retention, engagement, shared expertise.
