Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Accounts Payable Specialist at The Salina Supply Company in Salina, KS. The Accounts Payable Specialist will be responsible for managing vendor accounts, processing invoices, reconciling accounts payable transactions, and preparing and processing expense reports and printing checks.
Qualifications
• Experience in finance and accounting with a focus on accounts payable
• Analytical skills with a strong attention to detail
• Experience with journal entries and reconciling accounts payable transactions
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g. Quickbooks)
• Ability to maintain accurate and organized accounts payable records
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Associate or bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field or formal experience
• Some College or Willing to learn or be trained
• Experience in the manufacturing industry is a plus
