Manufacturing and Tooling Engineer - Senior Level
Netgroup Engineering, a leading player in the field of manufacturing and engineering, is seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Tooling & Equipment Engineer to join our team in Dublin, VA. This position requires a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience and will involve the design, development, and maintenance of mechanical equipment and tools utilized in our manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Research and Development: Conduct research to identify production equipment solutions and enhance or modify existing equipment designs to improve efficiency and productivity.
• Design and Implementation: Create, develop, and implement mechanical equipment and tools, including machinery, machine attachments, dies, gauges, jigs, fixtures, and other necessary components for the manufacturing process.
• Equipment Management: Oversee the installation, operation, and maintenance of equipment and associated processes to ensure optimal utilization, uptime, and production yield.
• Training and Collaboration: Collaborate with Technology Transfer and Production Groups to provide guidance and training on new equipment and associated processes.
Senior-Level Responsibilities:
• Project Management: Take charge of managing projects and processes independently, requiring minimal supervision.
• Mentorship: Provide guidance and review the work of junior-level professionals.
• Complex Problem Solving: Address challenging and sometimes complex problems, leveraging advanced knowledge gained through education and work experience.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in manufacturing tooling and equipment engineering.
• Proficiency in CAD software and other relevant engineering tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Advanced knowledge of manufacturing processes and equipment.
