We are looking for a part-time Garden Assistant for our client in Jeffersonton, VA. The position pays $17 an hour is 20 hours a week. This internationally recognized garden is like no other. If you care about the environment, have a deep appreciation for nature, prefer to work outdoors, and have a good sense of humor, you might be just the person we're looking for.
Garden Assistant Tasks:
You'll be mulching, pruning, mowing, trimming, fertilizing, planting, caring for small ponds, repairing borders, weeding, maintaining garden tools and keeping them organized, keeping track of and ordering supplies, filling bird feeders and birdbaths, and providing any other care the gardens may need throughout the year.
Essential Job Functions:
Must be able to frequently lift up to and including 50lbs throughout the shift.
Must be able to kneel and squat for long periods
Must be able to perform strenuous work
Must be able to work outside year round
Must be able to follow directions
