Job Description: Food Services Specialist Sr. II - Chef
Job Type: Direct Hire/Full time
Location: Manda Bay, Kenya
Pay Range: $78,000 - $83,000
• Must be a US Citizen with valid passport and have an active SF85 or above*
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• An equivalent combination of education and experience
• Minimum of four (4) years of related experience
Skills:
• Computer skills
• Proficiency in using email and Microsoft Office
• Knowledge of specialized applications as necessary for job functions
Responsibilities:
• Supervise food service operations and personnel within assigned facility or site
• Coordinate operations with other groups and clients
• Direct operational planning and ensure the availability of skilled personnel and resources
• Oversee the safe, clean preparation of nutritional and appealing meals
• Provide culinary instruction to staff, subcontractors, and/or labor broker personnel
• Supervise inventory, ordering, and food storage
• Ensure compliance with health and safety codes
• Adhere to the approved menu plans
• Maintain effective training programs for all supervised personnel
• Ensure a safe and sanitary working environment
• Assure quality and quantity of food preparation and delivery to clients
• Work cooperatively with other staff members
• Perform duties in accordance with TB MED 530, Title 29, Code of Federal Regulation Part 1910.1200, DoD 1338.10-M, and MIL-STD-3006C
