Facility and Maintenance Manager
Our Facility and Maintenance Manager will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient operation, safety, and maintenance of our facility and production equipment. You will lead a team of maintenance personnel, develop and implement maintenance strategies, and work closely with site managers to optimize the performance and condition of our plant.
Your Responsibilities
• Team Leadership:
• Supervise and lead a team of maintenance technicians, and subcontractors to maintain site equipment and optimize facility performance.
• Provide coaching, mentoring, and training to enhance the team's skills and productivity.
• Maintenance Strategy:
• Develop and implement a comprehensive maintenance strategy, ensuring optimal facility and production equipment performance.
• Establish preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and maximize equipment life.
• Budget Management:
• Manage the maintenance budget, ensuring cost-effective maintenance practices and resource allocation.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and work with supply change to negotiate contracts with vendors and service providers.
• Develop and Monitor Capital Budget
• Regulatory Compliance:
• Ensure our facility complies with relevant safety, health, and environmental regulations.
• Maintain records of compliance and work with regulatory agencies as necessary, and ISO standards.
• Facility Inspections:
• Conduct routine inspections of facilities to identify maintenance and repair needs.
• Prioritize and plan repairs and maintenance activities accordingly.
• Vendor Management:
• Oversee and manage relationships with contractors, suppliers, and service providers.
• Procure necessary materials and services in a cost-effective manner.
• Emergency Response:
• Develop and implement emergency response and contingency plans to address facility-related crises.
• Ensure quick and effective response to urgent maintenance issues.
• Documentation and Reporting:
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, costs, and equipment inventory.
• Prepare regular reports for senior management on facility performance and maintenance expenditures.

Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Facility Management, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
• Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.
• Proven experience in facility and maintenance management.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Knowledge of building systems, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general maintenance practices.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Proficiency in budget management and cost control.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with relevant regulatory requirements.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
