Material Handler
Our client, in Dublin, VA is the leader of rigid packaging solutions. They are currently looking for individuals to join their team as a Material Handler. This role is responsible for working with the production team to ensure high quality products are being manufactured and packaged for customer delivery.

Morning shift: $16.00
Night shift: $16.75/hour

Responsibilities:
• Move freight, stock, or other material to and from storage or production areas, loading docks, delivery vehicles, ships, or containers, by hand or using trucks, tractors, or other equipment.
• Attach identifying tags to containers or mark them with identifying information.
• Read work orders or receive oral instructions to determine work assignments or material or equipment needs.
• Record numbers of units handled or moved, using daily production sheets or work tickets.
• Sort cargo before loading and unloading.
• Assemble product containers or crates, using hand tools and precut lumber.
• Use needed tools, safety items or supplies for the proper function of job requirements. Properly handle them and return them after use to its storage unit.
Qualifications:
• Able to work in a production environment for 12- hour shifts
• Reliable transportation to and from work
• Willingness to consent to a background and drug screening prior to employment.
