Job Summary/Description:
KEYC-TV has an immediate opening for a Production Assistant. This part-time position involves the weekend evening newscasts and other station production. Position will require availability for weekends, holidays, weekdays and occasional fill-in shifts in other day-parts due to changing shifts, station projects, etc.
Duties/Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Serve as an audio technician, assistant director, or director for all productions
• Work efficiently with little supervision
• Must be able to work effectively under pressure
• Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, etc.)
• Must have excellent communication skills and get along well with co-workers
• Understanding of all equipment in studio and production areas
• Work closely with other departments to meet all daily demands
• Training of new personnel as assigned
Qualifications/Requirements:
• Applicant should have a career interest, training and/or experience in the television broadcast industry.
