IT DATA ENGINEER/ANALYST

• Position Summary:
• The Data Engineer/Analyst is responsible for analyzing, designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable and efficient data infrastructure and data pipelines that integrate various data sources and platforms to enhance data quality, integrity, and availability. The Data Engineer/ Analyst will also work closely with stakeholders to develop data solutions that meet business needs. This role creates and manages reports using SQL, then publishes them via various tools. The Engineer/Analyst creates, manages, and maintains Extract Transform Load/Extract Load Transform pipelines and various data uploads. The role undertakes projects and duties as assigned. The Engineer/Analyst develops creative and innovative initiatives to improve the services offered by Information Technology (I.T.) within the SRHC Health System. This can include developing and maintaining information systems, software, documentation, problem identification, and analysis. The Engineer/Analyst position also defines project requirements by identifying project milestones, phases, and elements. This role also works to improve systems by studying current practices and designing modifications.
• POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
• Minimum Education
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems or 8 years equivalent experience in field in lieu of degree
• Minimum Experience
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in data engineering or data analytics
• Experience with EHR technology implementation, maintenance, and support functions preferred
