You will be a key member of the culinary team at the multiple-award winning Virginia-based resort, which is recognized for excellence in wellness programs and retreats, and an innovative approach to delivering exceptional guest experiences, earning it consistent five-star ratings on Trip Advisor and Google reviews.
You will contribute to the resort’s vegetarian gourmet farm to table meal offering, one of the key pillars of our wellness offering, with varied menus drawing on the best of world cuisine and prepared from fresh produce from our organic greenhouses, botanical garden, cow and goat milking farms, cheese cave and fruit tree orchards.
The ideal candidate is a seasoned chef with a background in fine dining. You will run an efficient kitchen by consistently looking to improve the menu, producing quality and balanced meals, and managing the overall food and beverage operations of the restaurant.
Responsibilities
• Manage finances for kitchen operations
• Produce creative, healthy and balanced vegetarian meals
• Oversee menu creation
• Train junior personnel
Qualifications
• 3+ years of kitchen experience
• Experience in leading and supervising junior chefs
• Experience working within budget constraints
