Responsibilities Of The SharePoint Online Developer
EDC Consulting LLC (EDC) is seeking candidates for a SharePoint Online Developer for the U.S. Army in Radford, VA. As a SharePoint Online Administrator, you will be responsible for the administration and support of SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, and OneDrive. You will play a crucial role in developing and managing SharePoint Online sites, workflows, security models, and user access. Additionally, you will administer search and metadata, evaluate, and manage vendor relationships, and provide training to end users.
The SharePoint Online Developer Will
Assist clients and stakeholders in gaining an understanding of "As-Is" and "To-Be" business processes.
Develop and implement SharePoint-based custom workflows by understanding business processes and rules, translating them from manual processes to SharePoint-based workflow processes.
Develop SharePoint Online applications using SPFx and Power Platform, including analyzing existing applications, designing, and implementing new solutions based on the SharePoint Online development model and tooling, and providing L2 & L3 support and incident analysis in production.
Demonstrate good functional and technical knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint (collaboration tool), including online migration, Microsoft 365 governance, templates, page layouts, wireframes, UI elements creation, workflows, lists, libraries, alerts, and layout templates creation.
Hands-on experience working with Agile methodology.
Develop, analyze, program, test, document, and deploy SharePoint Online sites for different divisions and agencies.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
Minimum 5+ years of experience in Microsoft Collaboration products like SharePoint and Microsoft Office 365 (SharePoint Online).
Minimum 5+ years of experience in the IT industry.
Experience supporting and customizing SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, and OneDrive.
Ability to triage, troubleshoot, and resolve issues with SharePoint Online, OneDrive, and Teams.
Strong experience with RESTful web services and data representation standards, including XML/SOAP/WSDL and JSON.
Proficiency in PowerShell, ShareGate, and .NET Framework.
Familiarity with version control systems such as TFS/Azure CI/CD or Git.
Knowledge of IIS, Active Directory, infrastructure, and networking.
Understanding of how the HTTP protocol works.
Development experience in the Azure cloud.
CompTIA Security+ Certified
