• Position Summary:
• The Education Coordinator functions in the organization as an educator, consultant, facilitator, researcher, leader, change agent, and resource person for the health center. Knowledge of adult education principles, change management, team building, facilitation, consultation, and learning theory distinguishes this position, supported by competence in research, leadership, consultation, staff development, simulation, and professional growth. Under the direction of the department director, the Education Coordinator assumes a consultant role in strengthening collaborative relationships with health center leadership, physicians, and all health care staff in various settings to improve patient/family outcomes along the care continuum throughout the organization.
• POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
• Minimum Education
• ADN or Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing
• Masters Degree in Nursing preferred
• Minimum Experience
• Minimum 2 years' experience
• Required Registration/License/Certification
• Current Kansas Registered nurse license
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Current PALS certification
