Job Description
Provide the highest level of hospitality and create emotional connections with guests through a courteous, friendly and professional demeanor. Demonstrate a positive mindset and personal drive with a willingness and ability to learn in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Cultivate teamwork by putting others' needs first and communicating as a team to provide remarkable guest experiences.
Major Responsibilities Include
• Ensuring guests are waited on quickly, efficiently and in a pleasant manner
• Assisting guests with their menu selections and purchases and explaining any specials and/or restaurant promotions for guest awareness
• Presenting professional conduct and appearance at all times
• Operating a cash register, including cash handling functions
• Receiving order from kitchen, confirming its accuracy and delivering it to guests
• Checking work station before, during and after shift for proper set-up and cleanliness
• Adhering to company policies and procedures
Requirements
• Must be at least 15 years of age
• Availability to work minimum 3 days/week -- including Saturdays
• Valid driver’s license and/or reliable transportation is a MUST
• Ability to stand, walk, and carry food trays for prolonged periods of time
• Prefer a minimum of one year of previous serving experience
• Ability to effectively communicate in English (verbal and written)
