ONCOLOGY ASSISTANT MANAGER

• Position Summary:
• The Assistant Oncology Manager provides administrative support to the oncology manager. This includes coordinating patient care, assisting in developing and monitoring performance improvement issues, competency and development of staff as well as assisting in the management of direct reports, equipment, and drug purchasing. This person is the liaises between the manager, customers, and employees.
• POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
• Minimum Education
• Graduate of an accredited nursing school
• Bachelor's degree in business, management, BSN or related healthcare field preferred
• Minimum Experience
• Two years of clinical experience related to population served
• Required Registration/License/Certification
• Current Kansas Registered Nurse license
• Basic Life Support certification from either American Red Cross CPR/AED for the Health Care Provider or Basic Life Support (American Heart Association-Health Care Provider) successfully completed within the first 90 days of employment.
