NETWORK ADMINISTRATOR

• Position Summary:
• The Network Administrator is responsible for effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of network hardware, software and related infrastructure. The Network Administrator will manage hardware and software patching of network infrastructure, as well as implement improvement/upgrade changes to the infrastructure. This individual ensures that our network infrastructure remains reliable, and works within industry standards while adhering to security and data integrity standards. This role will build, document, manage, and monitor performance of network infrastructure as well as assist the network engineers with planning and researching improvement options. The Network Administrator will possess strong knowledge in network infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewalls, VPN, wireless hardware and software, physical and virtual servers, and other network/enterprise related hardware and services. This individual will assist all users with technical issues as third tier support. The Network Administrator will have strong verbal and written communication skills, be well organized, have project management skills, and be willing and able to maintain multiple tasks simultaneously. The Network Administrator will collaborate with others in a team environment, and must be prepared to assist other team members as necessary. The Network Administrator will work with the network engineer team to develop standard operating procedures for network and infrastructure tasking that will be used by multiple I.T. team members.

• Minimum Education
• Associate's Degree in Computer Science, or Information Technology, or related field
• Minimum Experience
• 4 years of experience managing a network preferred
