Job Description
Provide the highest level of hospitality, food quality, and speed of service for guests through a courteous, friendly and professional demeanor. Take pride in preparing excellent products and dining experience for guests with careful attention to recipes and procedures. Demonstrate a positive mindset and personal drive with a willingness and ability to learn in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Major Responsibilities Include
• Assure that all food procedures are followed
• Become familiar with new menu items
• Performing various kitchen cleaning and storage activities such as but not limited to dish washing, general and equipment cleaning, storage and rotation of food and supplies
• Maintaining cleanliness throughout shift in various food preparation & service areas in the kitchen
• Handling all foods, storage and cleaning activities in accordance with sanitary procedures and standards and complies with all federal, state and local regulatory procedures regarding food storage, cleaning and preparation.
• Follow all sanitation guidelines
• Adhering to company policies and procedures
Requirements
• Must be at least 16 years of age
• Availability to work minimum 3 days/week -- including Saturdays
• Valid driver’s license and/or reliable transportation is a MUST
• Ability to stand, walk, and carry food trays for prolonged periods of time
• Prefer a minimum of one year of previous food prepartion or restaurant kitchen experience
• Ability to effectively communicate in English (verbal and written)
