Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse - Medical ICU (Salem, VA)

Join our healthcare team at a leading medical facility in Salem, VA. We are actively seeking dedicated Registered Nurses to join our 29-bed Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU).
• Position Title: RN Medical ICU - Salem, VA
• Position Type: Permanent, Contingent S
• hifts: Days & Nights (7-7)
Responsibilities:
• Provide comprehensive and compassionate nursing care to patients in the Medical ICU.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to assess, plan, intervene, and evaluate patient care.
• Maintain strong clinical judgment and adhere to established policies, ensuring patient confidentiality.
• Coordinate care plans with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
Qualifications:
• Diploma or Associates Degree from a professional nursing program (required)
• BSN or current enrollment in a BSN program at an accredited school of Nursing (preferred)
• Current RN licensure in the state of Virginia or multi-state compact RN license with eligibility to practice in VA
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider certification (required)
• Minimum of 1 year hospital experience, preferably in Med Surg

Special Program: We're also inviting candidates for our ICU training program starting 9/18. This is a paid 10-week accelerated program. Candidates with a minimum of 6 months RN experience are eligible for a $15,000 sign-on bonus with a 3-year commitment. Limited spots available (12 needs).
