Role and Responsibilities:
• Conduct detailed reviews of UBO4s, itemized statements, and automated system analyses, including hospital coding with a focus on MUEs, HCPCS/CPT, and Diagnosis Code
• Evaluate medical record documentation for pricing accuracy, identifying and documenting compliance and billing errors and obtaining hospital CMS certification information
• Support appeals, assist in internal code creation, attend staff training and meetings, and contribute to other special projects as needed
Desired Qualifications:
• Previous experience working as a RN
• Strong communication skills and good attention to detail
• Ability to work by yourself and work together in a team environment
