General Equipment & Supply is a national leader in remanufactured tools and equipment for the industrial construction industry.
Position/Title : Production Prep Associate
Report To : Production Supervisor
Position Type : Full Time
Hours : Monday – Friday 7:00 AM – 3:30PM. Occasional weekends and regulated overtime may be required, based on sales order demands.
General Description:
The successful candidate will be:
• Mechanically inclined and proficient with hand tools, grinders, and sanders.
• Able to learn how to prep and assemble tools and equipment.
• Able to read and understand the weekly production schedule.
• Willing to cross-train and support other areas when needed.
• Responsible for sanding and cleaning items in preparation for paint.
• Willing to work as a team to complete orders in a timely manner.
• Willing and able to take direction by team lead and management.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Ensure that the weekly schedule is completed.
• Work within the guidelines of OSHA standards.
• Maintain a constant visual on parts and supplies stored on the shop floor.
• Fill out low stock notices.
• Keep work areas clean and organized.
• Work as part of the team.
• Follow all company rules and policies.
• Follow all safety rules and other quality requirements.
• Ensure that all products are built to the highest standard of quality.
• Work with team members to maximize productivity and efficiency.
Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or GED
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour

• Simpsonville, SC: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
