Building Material Sales/Estimator This is NOT a remote job. In today’s environment, information is readily available at everyone’s finger tips, it is your job to turn that information into a successful project and in turn a satisfied customer. Your Qualifications: - sales & estimating experience in the building industry or related field (required) - ability to read blue prints (required) - drafting and design skills on CAD or related software (preferred) - cabinet design on 20/20 or related software (preferred) - excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as proficient computer skills - ability to work in an autonomous environment Your Responsibilities: (include but are not limited to) - develop and maintain new customer accounts to achieve annual growth objectives - consult with contractors & customers on their building plans and projects - demonstrate good judgment in respecting the confidentiality of customer, company and personnel information - maintain cooperative working relationships with fellow employees - meet and/or exceed annual sales and gross margin budget - service walk in trade and existing accounts - strategically build new relationships with prospective accounts - develop material take offs - assist other sales people as needed Your Benefits: - Salary range $60,000-$90,000 (base salary plus commission) - Simple IRA retirement with 3% company match - Health & dental insurance - Vacation, sick & holiday pay - merchandise discounts - mileage reimbursement - training and career development Send resumes to cdeblieck@stpeterlumber.com or call 507-931-3200 for more information.
