The Salem Red Sox are the Single A affiliate of the Boston Red Sox. We are seeking an organized, attentive, and outgoing individual to fill the position of Ticket Operations Assistant in Virginia’s beautiful Blue Ridge. The ideal candidate will be incredibly organized and communicative, have a willingness to learn, and represent the Red Sox in a professional, and friendly manner. The Ticket Operations Assistant will have the opportunity to gain exposure to all aspects of the team’s ticket office as well as the overall ticket operations. Ideally, the position would begin in late February and run through the end of the season. Hiring Manager: Lior Bittan Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in applicable field Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills Passion for the product and providing excellent customer service Ability to be coachable, with a desire to learn and excel Ability to problem solve, work independently, and as a team Knowledge of Tickets.com (preferred, but not required) Duties and Responsibilities: Assist in day-to-day ticket operations including event creation, buyer type management, and fulfilling orders Assist in print and distribution of season tickets, group tickets, and game day tickets Responsible for supervising and assisting box office employees Answer phones and assist walk-in customers Troubleshoot ticket issues for customers Other duties as assigned Compensation: Monthly stipend + housing We are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, age, disability, gender identity, marital or veteran status, or any other protected class.
