Job Summary The Dietary Aide is responsible for assisting with the preparation and delivery of food to our residents. The ideal candidate will have a passion for elder care, a strong understanding of nutrition and food service, and a commitment to providing quality care to our residents. Responsibilities Assist with the preparation of food, including washing, chopping, and cooking vegetables and fruits; preparing salads; and setting up and breaking down the dining room. Assist with the delivery of food to residents, including setting up trays, serving food, and clearing away dishes. Assist with the cleaning of the kitchen and dining room, including washing dishes, sweeping and mopping floors, and taking out trash. Work with other dietary staff to ensure that the dietary needs of our residents are met.
