POSITION SUMMARY:
The Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Neurosciences at the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine is seeking a geriatric psychiatrist to join its outpatient clinical team at the Byrd Alzheimer's Institute. This position will provide outpatient clinical services to adult and geriatric patients. Other responsibilities include conducting and overseeing various clinical trials at the Institute.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provides outpatient psychiatric clinical care to include the evaluation, diagnosis, assessment, treatment and care of adult patients. Completes open encounters and other clinical documentation in a timely manner.
Supports various clinical trials including conducting medical assessments, overseeing study interventions and assessments, data collection and overall coordination of research trials according to protocols
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
MINIMUM:
Medical degree from an accredited institution or the highest degree appropriate in the field of specialization with a demonstrated record of achievement in teaching, academic research, and service. Completion of an accredited general psychiatry residency training program. Must meet university criteria for appointment to the rank of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor. Must obtain and maintain credentialing with USF Health
