The HIV PrEP Navigator plays a crucial role in supporting the local health department's efforts in mitigating the spread of HIV.
Responsibilities:
• Guide individuals through the process of accessing PrEP services, including eligibility assessments and insurance verification.
• Conduct community outreach to raise awareness about PrEP and its availability
• Collaborate with clinicians to ensure clients receive comprehensive sexual health care in addition to PrEP.
• Organize and participate in events to promote sexual health and prevention strategies.
Qualifications:
• · Bachelor's degree in a related field (public health, social work, etc.). Preferred
• · Experience in public health, sexual health education, or a related field.
• · Knowledge of PrEP and current practices in sexual health.
