If you are a Food Server - Dietary Aide who finds reward in ensuring patients receive fresh healing meals in a clean environment then we want to hear from you! The Food and Nutrition Aide assists in all Food & Nutrition functions including food preparation, and the serving of meals, and is involved in the clean-up of the kitchen and serving areas. The Food and Nutrition Aide understands the importance of following health and sanitary precautions needed for food service. They also understand the importance of quality customer service when interacting with residents.
Qualifications: • High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior food service experience
• Prior healthcare experience
• Ability to understand both written and verbal instructions
• Knowledge of dietary services practices and procedures
• Knowledge of the laws, regulations, and guidelines governing dietary services in a long-term care facility
• Ability to work every other weekend is required!
