Covelo Direct is seeking Staff Pharmacists for full-time, benefit-eligible positions outside of Roanoke, VA.
In this role, you will make customers feel welcome, meaningful, and appreciated by answering questions regarding products sold within the department and throughout the store.
Day-to-day duties include:
• Receive verbal RX orders and accurately reduce to writing in adherence with State and Federal laws and regulations
• Interpret, fill/refill, label, and bag prescription orders completely and accurately
• Provide drug counseling to customers and prescribers
• Be familiar with third-party billing and procedures, facilitate charges for customer
• Maintain accurate records-including insurance-properly receive RX information from customers, correctly and accurately deliver RX to customers, assist with over-the-counter medication recommendations
• Follow all policies and procedures
• *Must be comfortable working 12-hour shifts*

Basic qualifications for this position include:
• Possess a current Pharmacist license in VA with no board restrictions
• Graduate of a US School of Pharmacy or have passed a foreign equivalency exam
• Successfully passed the NAPLEX exam
