Friendship is looking for a Full-Time Wellness Coordinator to join our Friendship/Richfield Independent Living team, located on Richfield Lane in Salem, VA. The Wellness Coordinator is responsible for the overall promotion, organization, and leadership of recreation programs.
Qualifications:
* High School Diploma or GED required
* CPR certification required
* Silver Sneaker Certification required (can be obtained while at Friendship)
* Personal Training Certification preferred
* Nutrition Certification preferred
Responsibilities:
* Develops and leads group exercise classes for both residents and staff
* Works with internal Wellness Committee to create, communicate and manage employee wellness activities
* Comply with facility safety and health guidelines
* Assists with collection of payment for classes
* Maintains cleanliness of pool
* Manages monthly wellness calendar
* Works well with volunteers, family, co-workers and outside community
