Food Lion is looking for a part-time or full-time Baking Assistant to join our team!
Requirements:
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
• Must be available to work Sunday through Thursday from 1:30pm-8:00pm.
• Must have a positive attitude and be able to communicate well with co-workers, managers, and customers.
• Basic math and cooking skills.
• Ability to lift 50lbs.
• Ability to stand and walk for 8-10 hours.
• Must be able to follow instructions.
• Maintain a clean work environment.
• Be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Be able to follow instructions.
• Be able to communicate well with co-workers, managers, and customers.
Job Duties:
·Prepare and decorate cupcakes with a variety of frostings and toppings, such as chocolate ganache, white chocolate ganache, buttercream, caramel, peanut butter, strawberry buttercream, red velvet, white chocolate mocha buttercream, etc.
·Fold cupcakes as they are being made.
·Clean up work area between cups as needed.
·Assist with setting up for different flavors throughout the day (e.g., baking displays, display cases).
·Assist with setting up for special orders (e.g., birthday cakes).
·Assist with cleaning up after each shift (including the kitchen).
·Other duties as assigned by management (e.g., cleaning).
Job Type: Part-time
Salary: $12.80 - $16.00 per hour
