Interim Healthcare of SW Virginia is hiring Personal Care Assistants (PCA) to provide home services to clients in the New Castle, VA area.
• Case hours Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 4:00 pm
• Benefits package available after 60 days
Requirements:
• Must be 18 years of age
• PCA certificate from approved program
• Reliable transportation
• Up-to-date TB test
• Ability to pass criminal background check
Essential Functions:
• Assists clients with bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, oral hygiene, and ambulation.
• Light housekeeping, laundry, meal preparation, grocery shopping.
• Helps with medication reminders, healthy movements, healthy diet and setting doctor appointments.
• Observes and reports changes in the client’s mental, physical, and emotional condition or home situation to Nursing Supervisor
