Job Description
AmeriStaff is currently seeking an experienced Twist Operator to fill an opening with a yarn manufacturer located in Rocky Mount, VA.
Benefits of the Twist Operator:
* Monday-Thursday.
* 6:00am-4:00pm
* Pay: $13.26 per hour.
Requirements of the Twist Operator:
* High School Diploma, or equivalent, preferred.
* Computer data entry experience preferred.
* No previous experience required.
* Must be able to stand, bend, and twist for duration of shift.
* Must be able to lift up-to 50 lbs.
* General machine knowledge is a plus.
* Excellent attendance history.
* Attention to detail and quality.
* Ability to work in a team environment.
* Ability to multi-task.
Responsibilities of the Twist Operator:
* Select creels in supply packages.
* Threads positions.
* Ties or splices transfer tails.
* Patrol positions and repair breaks.
* Ties off packages.
* Doffs full packages.
* Maintain work area in a clean and orderly condition.
* Work safely, including use of appropriate Personal Protective Equipment.
* Performs various other job responsibilities as required.
