Position Duties include assisting clients with daily living. Every client is unique and requires individualized care - though many of our clients need support with participating in community activities, pursuing hobbies and interests, healthy eating, exercise, completing daily chores like cooking and cleaning, assistance with grocery shopping and budgeting, administering medications, and transportation to the pharmacy or doctor appointments. When working with a client you can see the struggles that they face every day. YOU could be that person who lends a helping hand.
Qualifications – For this position you must be 18 years old or older, have a High School Diploma or equivalent, provide proof of Auto Insurance, must have a clean criminal and driving record, and some positions require lifting.
Training - No experience required! DSI provides a detailed training course that includes organization orientation, CPR/First Aid, Medication Administration, and other general caregiver overview courses to ensure that our staff have the confidence to perform their jobs safely and effectively.
