What you will do
As part of our team , you'll be maintaining and expanding our sales and service route. We work with a diverse range of clients, spanning across industries such as retail, education, healthcare, restaurants, industrial settings, pharmaceuticals, farming, and agriculture. Your main responsibility will be to assist these clients with their fire safety needs, including fire extinguishers, kitchen hoods, e-lights, and pre-engineered and possibly engineered gas systems.
In this dynamic role , you'll be involved in a wide range of activities. From selling and inspecting to servicing, repairing, and installing our top-of-the-line suppression product lines, you'll be at the forefront of ensuring the safety of our customers. This includes emergency lights, fire extinguishers, and pre-engineered and industrial systems. Rest assured, all your work will adhere to safety requirements and follow the manufacturer's specifications.

How you will do it
• Maintain and expand a customer route for fire extinguisher, kitchen hood, e-light, and pre-engineered and possibly engineered gas system services.
• Perform inspections, servicing, repairs, and installations of suppression products including emergency lights, fire extinguishers, and pre-engineered and industrial systems.
• Ensure all work is done in accordance with safety requirements and manufacturer's specifications.
• Provide recommendations based on manufacturer's specifications and state/local codes.
• Identify equipment deficiencies and address them to meet code requirements.
• Upsell new product offerings and services to existing customers to ensure compliance with current fire code regulations.
• Quote, sell, and repair extinguishing and suppression equipment on-site.
• Visit potential customers to offer suppression products and services.
• Develop and sell new accounts within your assigned geographical route based on compliance criteria.
• Meet and exceed sales quotas.
What we look for
Required
• High School diploma or equivalency.
• A valid motor vehicle license is required.
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and basic computer knowledge.
• Ability to transport equipment and tools weighing up to 40 lbs.
• Ability to work in restricted areas and adept at maneuvering ladders.
• Ability to demonstrate a high level of customer service
• Effective communication skills with both internal and external customers
Preferred
• Previous experience in the Fire Protection industry preferred
• Knowledge of NFPA standards and dangerous goods an asset.
