Thank you for considering a career at Mercy HealthThe Echocardiography Technician student is responsible for prepping the diagnostic room, preparing the patients, and gathering case specific supplies and equipment under the direction of the Registered ECHO tech’s instructions. The Echo Student will perform imaging studies under the direction of a Registered Echo Tech and all studies will be reviewed for technique and quality while the patient is still prepped. Other responsibilities include room sanitation, patient transport/transfer, patient preparation, and equipment and instrument operation. The Echo Student must be able to anticipate and perform tasks that help provide a safe work environment for staff, patient, and self.
