Job Description
Perform programming, preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, and debugging for automated packaging equipment in industrial manufacturing environments.
*** Upgrade plant control systems.
*** Perform new equipment installations.
*** Diagnose and correct PLC problems to minimize downtime, by connecting to the PLC, reading ladder logic, programming, and diagnosing hardware and software problems.
*** Diagnose, repair, and replace electrical components of machines including motors, relays, overloads, cables, switches, sensors, and variable speed drives.
*** Troubleshoot and calibrate control panels using relay logic, Cam-driven switch boxes, heat and humidity control systems, process control valves, pneumatic control systems, hydraulic control systems, metal detection systems, ink jet coding systems, electronic scaling systems, electronic meters, etc.
