Responsibilities:
PATIENT POPULATION - (CLINICAL ONLY) 5% Engages in population appropriate communication. Has knowledge of growth and development milestones and tasks. Gives clear instructions to patients/family regarding treatment. Involves family/guardian in the assessment, initial treatment and continuing care of the patient. Identifies any physical limitations of the patient and deploys intervention when necessary. Recognizes and responds appropriately to patients/families with behavioral health problems. Interprets population related data and plans care appropriately. Identifies and responds appropriately to different needs resulting from, unique psychological needs or those associated with religious / cultural norms. Performs treatments, administers medication or operates equipment safely. Recognizes and responds to signs/symptoms of abuse or neglect. � Clinical Activities: - 65% Observes cardiac monitors. Identifies dysrhythmias and/or changes in cardiac patterns and reports observations to the nurse assigned to patient or the charge nurse. Responds to alarms under the direction of the assigned Registered Nurse. Records cardiac rhythms on all patients every shift and prn. Inputs patient data into the monitoring system. Maintains the telemetry log on all patients being monitored. � Clinical Thinking Skills: - 20% Effectively uses problem-solving skills to anticipate, analyze and solve problems. � Equipment: - 10% Telemetry transmitters and cardiac monitors are maintained. Malfunctioning transmitters are reported to Clinical Engineering. | Review the physical demands and assign an overall average percentage of time this position performs these activities. Qualifications:
Minimum Required: High School Diploma or GED Graduate. ? Minimum Required: Bachelor's Degree in Retirement Benefits, BA. ? Preferred Degree: Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources.
| None required; CEBS RPA certification (Retirement Plans Associate) desired. | Minimum Required: 3 - 5 Years equivalent experience. ? Preferred: 4 Years equivalent experience.
